Be consistent in what you do. We’ve seen lots of people that jump on every business idea and hop from one business to another. If you’re that kind of person, then stop! You are hindering your business growth. If you stick to one business and people get to know you for it, then you can really focus on expanding your business and making it grow.

Be passionate about what you do. You’ve heard this several times and you’re reading it again. If you go into a business for the sole reason of making money, then you’re making a big mistake. When you’re passionate about your business, it reflects in everything that you do. When you love what you do, you ensure that it grows and develops day after day. Be extremely passionate about your business this year!

Keep detailed records. More than ever, make sure you keep very detailed financial and stock record of your business. Auditing is highly important in every business. Knowing how much money goes in and out of your company and how much profit you make, will make you conscious of the growth of your business.

Analyse your competition. Healthy competition is needed for every business growth. Watch out for your competitors, check out their latest services, packaging, branding or advertisement and see what you can learn from them. 

Provide great customer service. Providing great customer service is a good way to ensure your business growth. Do all you can to make sure that your clients and customers are satisfied. As much as is within your power, go out of your way to ensure that they leave happy. The goal is to turn your clients into brand loyalists and then self-appointed brand evangelists.
